Forget and not slow down
Philippians 3:13
“Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of IT yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what
lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead.

(it meaning Paul Didn’t attain the ultimate conformity to Christ, perfection or spiritual maturity)
Perfection?! Yes, perfection but, Paul was pointing to the fact that to keep on pursuing God and never stop running. Perfection is impossible, but that’s why Paul used it and used it perfectly. He was giving a mindset that
nothing is ever good enough till the day he dies and meets the Lord.
Now the scripture can be understood in two ways.. The one of which Paul was actually meaning was that he literally forgets his passed accomplishments and focusing ALL on God. Paul’s past was deep and busy.
Another way to understand it would be that we forget the mistakes or problems of yesterday (Unless they are resolved) and move on with our head held high serving God with our fullest.
